Sitapura massacre - Jaipur (India)

After repeated attempts of climbing up the paani ki tanki, I finally managed to reach the top of it. The city looked enormous from here. I couldn't digest the fact that half of the city was being eaten away by the flames. The fire occured due to leakage in one of the IOCL tanks. Watching the flames engulfing the life of it's Siamese, the rest of the city continued to entertain it's parasites as a sweet sacrifice. The Sitapura fire spread like the spreading word of it's occurence.

Involuntarily, I imagined myself trapped in the infuriated flames, fighting my way out . I was scared of Death, and the mere petrifying sight further encouraged me to think of it. I lay down underneath the open sky staring at the glimmering stars. The temperature of the city had suddenly shot up by four degrees. Sweatshirts seemed a formality in the month of November. How earnestly I longed for it to rain so that an end is put to the deceptive fire!

I knew a lot of families were suffering and mourning to the death of their beloved ones where as some rejoiced escaping the death by a hair's breadth. Elegies and joyful songs were ringing in the air . In a moment, many a dreams were shattered, life would never be the same again for many toddlers who used to eagerly wait for their father to get back from work and play with them.
